The year 2000 was a banner year for the WWF and the biggest commercial success of the brand. One of the staple events the King of the Ring however was losing it's luster after a few below par King's were crowned in years gone by. The 2000 King of the Ring went on to highlight the depth of roster by featuring a mammoth 32 men, and one in particular was going to have the greatest debut year in WWF History to that point.
