Episode Eighty Six - November to Remember 2000We head back to the land of extreme for this November to Remember. And it's not just any November to Remember, but it is the last ever November to Remember! And what a way to go out, with the title in not just Jeopardy...but double Jeopardy! A unique match type that was one and done, two matches going on at the same time with the winners meeting in a single match immediately afterwards....how could this fail? Well let me assure you it did, massively! It's in many ways what you expect from ECW, but in so many ways this is not a November you will Remember. This ain't PG, and well it ain't very good, but what way to celebrate the month of November than with Better Call Creative Podcast!Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/better-call-creative-wrestling-podcast--3014789/support.

Episode Eighty Five - KamalaAs we reach the spookiest time of year, this Halloween we take a deep dive look at one of the longest running wrestling Horror gimmicks, well at least it started as horror. The Ugandan Headhunter/Cannibal/Giant depending on where James Harris was booked, Kamala grew to become one of the most legendary wrestling gimmicks of all times, and in many ways the most loved. That said the gimmick, whilst it probably wouldn't fly today, did allow for a wide range of matches, from Hulk Hogan to George Steele, Undertaker to DOink the Clown and even a member of the AEW Lockeroom! A podcast that stretches almost 30 years, and features some of the biggest names in wrestling history, this can't be called the best wrestling gimmick, in fact there are many questions about it's "roots", but ultimately Kamala developed from a mindless Horror gimmick, into something fans loved. Isn't that the story of most strong Horror Characters? So you know what to do, you had Better Call Creative!Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/better-call-creative-wrestling-podcast--3014789/support.

Episode Eight Four - Taboo Tuesday 20052005 can be best described as a transitional year for the WWE. In limbo before the move to PG, and in desperate need for a new mega star, WWE seemingly were ready to try new things and new concepts. One year prior, a new fans choice concept was created, a Tuesday PPV, the first for 10 years, and a show voted on entirely by the fans. One year later and the WWE would run it one more time...one last time. So why did the WWE shelve the Tuesday PPV model, and why...is Batista fighting Vader and Goldust? What could this concept and ppv looked like, and why...is Coach with Goldust and Vader. A ppv littered with a mixed bag, Triple H, Gene Snitsky...oh and why is Vader a friend of Jonathan Coachman? We had Better Call Creative to get answers on this!Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/better-call-creative-wrestling-podcast--3014789/support.

WRESTLECUP EPISODE - Worst Wrestling VideogameWrestling and Videogames seem to go hand in hand. Meet a wrestling fan and you will probably be able to discuss hours and hours lost in career modes, and create a wrestler suites. Some of the best videogames of all time have been wrestling games. No Mercy on the N64, Smackdown Here Comes the Pain, and even WCW had a great game in WCW/NWO Revenge and World Tour. However wrestling has had its fair share of terrible games. We have actually found 32 terrible games, and we are going to decide which one is the worst of all time. An open draw could see Betrayal versus Backstage Assault in round one, so join Better Call Creative to find out which Videogame will take the Wrestlecup crown for the worst Wrestling Videogame ever made, and ever played!Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/better-call-creative-wrestling-podcast--3014789/support.

Episode Eighty Three - Beaver CleavageWhen you promise to review the worst of wrestlings past, you know at some point you are going to have to review this angle. The holder of the worst gimmick of 90s wrestling at the recent Wrestlecup, this...is Beaver Cleavage! However it would be very unfair to Chaz Warrington to review only the Beaver character, so this podcast will span two decades as we review the career of Chaz, Mother Smucker, Spider#1 or as he'll be best known to wrestling fans....Mosh! Yes we are hoping to ECW, we are watching Shotgun Saturday Night, and even watching Lo Down and their cultural appropriation gimmick! Oh Chaz you'd really Better Call Creative....They surely have something better for you than this!Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/better-call-creative-wrestling-podcast--3014789/support.

Episode Eighty Two - Fall Brawl 1996In 1996 WCW stumbled upon THE storyline! After years and years of being in the shadow of the WWF, WCW have warmed up in the mid nineties with the return of Hulk Hogan, but try as they might, they couldn't find the right storyline to put them fully on top. Then leading into Fall Brawl 1996, they found it! Yes, it is the explosion...of Fire and Ice!!! Scott Norton, Ice Train, in a Submission Match! Ok so maybe you don't remember that one, but there is this little thing called the NWO that might have led to WCW taking the lead in the Monday Night Wars....possibly! Sting has turned his back on WCW, and left the Horsemen and Luger in the lurch heading into WAR GAMES! Who will save WCW this time? It's one of the most fondly remembered War Games matches, but what about the event itself, well the Better Call Creative boys do a deep dive rewatch of the event, and reimagine what the show could have been! And in honour of the true stars of the pay per view, we round out the episode with a Fire and Ice inspired fantasy card! Two Stings? Wrestlecup Episode - Worst 2nd Generation SuperstarSome apples don't fall far from the tree. When you think of Rocky Johnson, you will counter with the Rock. Randy Orton exceeded his dad Bob Orton, and how about Roman Reigns. Well that old saying isn't always true in wrestling. For every Bret Hart, there is a David Flair. For every Eddie Guerrero you have a David Sammartino. This is a Wrestlecup like no other if you focus on the surnames...but unfortunately there is no Kerry Von Erich, or Gerald Briscoe, instead we have Wes and Lacey. But who is the worst 2nd Generation star in Wrestling history? Better Call Creative are back to dust of the Wrestlecup once again to crown it's Worst ever 2nd Generation Star in a 16 person knockout tournament like no other!Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/better-call-creative-wrestling-podcast--3014789/support.

Episode Eighty One - Summerslam 20162016 was one of those unique times in wrestling where yet again WWE was changing focus. The Roman Reigns experiment was looking like a failure, Cena was being pulled to Hollywood and the WWE was looking for new stars. NXT had grown and grown to the point where some of it's talents were ready for the big time, and hot on the heels of the WWE Draft in 2016, we headed straight for the biggest event of the Summer, Summerslam. Dean Ambrose was the only recognised World Champion in the company, and WWE hastily booked a main event between two big box office draws, Brock Lesner and Randy Orton. A match with little in the way of build would be the memory left by this weird and topsy turvy event! Check out better call creative's review of Summerslam 2016, kick off show and all, as they relive the card, then rebook this mamoth event. Rounding out with a fantasy card around championship "firsts" this is one podcast you'd be mad to miss. In the words of Flo Rida...Who Wid Me? Brock Lesner is legitimately killing Randy Orton in the ring.... Episode Eighty - Life of Brians (Brian Adams and Bryan Clark)There is lots of weird quirks and coincidences thrown up by the world of Wrestling every now and again. Brian Adams, and Bryan Clark, born one month apart, with very similar career paths, both massive under achievers, both colourful characters from the 90s, who went through wild transformations, and ended up together in a tag team. We sadly lost one of the Brian's but both should be re-examined. Did Wrestling fail to spot the potential these two big men carried, or did they actually over achieve, stuck in the memories of Wrestling fans with a desire to celebrate nostalgia? We take a deep dive, over 2 hours, we will look through their separate paths, that led them to becoming a team. Then, we each take a piece of their careers to reimagine what might have been with a rebooking. Somebody better call Brian i guess and let him know creative is calling.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/better-call-creative-wrestling-podcast--3014789/support.
